Meetings with Host and Alternative Host, Cloud Recordings
- Host: The user that scheduled the meeting. They have full permission to manage the meeting. There can only be one host of a meeting. They can start the meeting. If a host needs someone else to start the meeting, they can assign alternative hosts when they schedule a meeting.
- Alternative hosts: Shares the same controls as hosts and can start the meeting.
If you recording a zoom meeting the owner of the meeting (who created the zoom meeting) that account will have the zoom cloud recordings. Even if you have an alternative host recording it will only store the recording to the owner of the meeting.
