What is Poll Everywhere?

Poll Everywhere is a dynamic online polling platform that allows participants to respond to custom polls through text messaging, the Poll Everywhere mobile app (iOS Links to an external site. or Android Links to an external site.), or the web (pollev.com Links to an external site.).

Chapman instructors and staff members have access to create and present polls.  Polls can be presented through polleverywhere.com Links to an external site. or slides (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote).

Claim Your Poll Everywhere Account

Chapman instructors and staff members can claim their Poll Everywhere presenter account by signing in to polleverywhere.com Links to an external site. with their Chapman credentials.

Open a browser and navigate to polleverywhere.com Links to an external site..

Click Log in at the top right. 

Important: Do not sign in with Google.

Enter your full Chapman email address.

Click Next.

Click Log in with Chapman University.

Sign in with your Chapman credentials the same way you sign in to Chapman email, Canvas, etc.

What Additional Features Does a Poll Everywhere Enterprise Account Offer?

  • Allows you to log in via Chapman Single Sign On (SSO)
  • Removes generic Poll Everywhere branding and enables you to customize your activities using Chapman branding or color preferences
  • Allows for moderation of Free Text activities
  • Allows you to customize your username (pollev.com/) page where students respond to polls
  • Allows you to import your roster from Canvas for grading purposes
  • Allows you to share activities with and receive shared activities from colleagues via Teams
  • Allows you to create reports and to use gradebook reporting
  • Gives you access to phone and email support from Poll Everywhere
  • Larger audience capacity. Largest audience on a free account is either 25 or 40 responses per question. Your account allows for up to 6000.
