Getting Started with Poll Everywhere

✅ Log in to Poll Everywhere

✅ Review your activity settings

You can review and adjust the default settings for your Poll Everywhere activities in the Activity settings tab of the Profile page.  Learn more here: Activity settings Links to an external site.

✅ Customize your username

The easiest way for your audience to respond to a Poll Everywhere poll is on your unique PollEv.com/username page. ✅ Turn off sign-in notifications for students

  • Log into Poll Everywhere.
  • Select the Profile menu.
  • Select Activity Settings.
  • Under Remind participants to register for all graded activities? select No.
  • Select Save.

✅ Create an activity

Multiple choice, Free text, Ranking, Clickable image (Please note that clickable image polls do not support keyboard methods to reply), Survey, and Competition. ✅ Presenting activities via the web

✅ Gamify your presentations using Poll Everywhere Competitions

Competitions is a multi-question activity type that brings out the audience’s competitive side. With each response, participants earn points for correctness and speed. Between questions, a leaderboard shows the highest scores.
