How to submit a file from Google Drive (LTI 1.3) to a Canvas assignment
Navigate to your Canvas course.
Navigate to the assignment you would like to submit.
If your instructor has allowed file uploads, you will see Google Drive (LTI 1.3) as an option for submitting the assignment. Select the Google Drive (LTI 1.3) tab.
Note: if this is your first time using this tool, you may be prompted to sign in or verify your Google account.
Confirm that the correct Google account is displaying. Click Select file.
A window will open with your Google Drive.
Select the file from your Google Drive that you would like to submit, then click Add.
Confirm that you would like to attach the file by clicking Attach.
Confirm that the correct file is displaying (you can select change if needed). Once you are ready to submit your assignment, click the Submit Assignment button.
